As of August 15th, 2023, the Income-Based Public Housing Waiting List for bedroom sizes 1 through 5 is open.
**HAN will also continue to accept applications for elderly persons (62 years of age or older) (Any bedroom size) **
Please apply in person at:
48 Ball Street
Newnan, GA 30263
Every Tuesday between the hours of 10 AM - 2 PM
*Please be advised that the last applicant will be accepted at 1:45 PM*
*Must provide:
- Original Social Security Card
- Birth Certificate
- Government ID
- and Verification of Income are required*
**Please be advised that if you do not have the required documents, you will be turned away. No exceptions!!!**

At this time, our Waiting List for Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) is closed.
Be advised that staff cannot answer questions about your status over the phone.
You can also fax your status review request to 770.253.0030 or send your request by mail to the Housing Authority of Newnan 48 Ball Street, Newnan, GA 30263, Attention: Admissions. You must include the following information:
- Head of Household (the name that should be on the application)
- Social Security Number (of the head of household on the application)
- Complete Address
Please provide any information you would like us to consider when reviewing your request. You will receive a written response within 90 days.
